Sunday Messsages
In each Sunday Service a short message (sermon) is given for the encouragement, education and enlightenment of the congregation. We are fortunate to have several gifted preachers who regularly support our Pastor Paul Clarke in the presentation of the Sunday message, and these are Martin Robinson and Pete Bowen. Other members of the church occasionally give the message, particularly if they feel strongly that God has given them a word to share with the church. In addition, we have occasional guest speakers, sometimes from overseas.
The messages are organised into short series ranging from 3 to 8 weeks in length, with each series addressing a particular issue or being inspired by a section of scripture. One series (9th October to 20th November 2005) was entitled “What on Earth is the Church For ?”, which addressed the purpose, structure and nature of God’s church, both historically and today.
Since March 2005, most Sunday messages have been digitally recorded and a selection of these more recent messages are available on this site. Prior to March 2005 the messages were recorded on audio tape, and an archive of these is available for borrowing. If you are interested in a particular message, please contact Paul Clarke (paul@rowheathpavilion.co.uk).
Archive of Recorded Sunday Messages
The number of Sunday messages currently available here is relatively small, but more will be added over the next few months, including updates of the most recent message every one to two weeks.
