The Cadbury Debate

Like us, many local residents of Bournville are in shock at the news that Cadbury are to be sold to Kraft. Cadbury built Bournville! While over the last few year the Cadbury community agenda has been well down their list of priortys, we still see them as an integral part of our community.

The Pavilion are hosting a debate on the issues next week. The invitation is to all Bournville residents, it takes place on Tuesday the 26th of January with doors opening  at 18.30. No bookings are being taken, the first 150 people will gain free access to the debate chamber. The event is being run by Radio WM and fronted by Phil Upton. The invited panel included Prof. Carl Chinn, Digby Lord Jones of Birmingham, Nigel Dawkins and other local counsellors. Our own Pastor Paul Clarke joins the front row guests. Be part of the this event, we have been told it all over the shouting, but as Paul has said “the shouting is important” Have you say, join the debate!
