Brian Jennings

Brian was born and brought up in London before moving to Birmingham in 1980.  He has a BA in philosophy, an MA in Religious Studies and another in Education Management, and a PhD in Theology, so he is well qualified for his role of working at Ghana Christian University College in Accra, where he has served since 1993.

Having taught ethics and church history on GCUC’s BA Theology course, Brian has subsequently specialised in supervising graduate students’ research projects and working as Quality Assurance Manager.  This latter role has helped increase the profile and standards of GCUC so that it can now award degrees.

Brian is married to Comfort Adjahoe, a Ghanaian businesswoman who runs a fair trade beauty products company that helps women in Ghana’s rural areas to gain a sustainable livelihood.  Brian is an ordained minister of the Fellowship of Churches of Christ, and has been a member of Pavilion for over 30 years.  In Ghana, Brian and Comfort are members of Asbury-Dunwell Methodist Chapel where Brian serves as elder responsible for teaching.

Brian is supported financially by contributions from a number of supporting churches and individuals.  To become one of these, or to sign up for Brian’s prayer letter, please contact Herbie.
