- Meetings of ‘12′, The Pavilion Church’s men’s ministry group
- Weekly small groups
Wednesday Communion
We meet every Wednesday at 12.00 in our newly finished chapel “The Gathering Place” Using a Simple Celtic Liturgy all are welcome. After the service community members share a lunch in our cafe.
Weekly Small Groups
Jesus was a great teacher and orator, addressing many thousands as He taught about God. He also sat down with His twelve disciples and shared time with them in a more relaxed and intimate setting. We believe that getting together in smaller groups, sharing what’s going on in your life and being able to support one another is a vitally important part of being a family.
We have several different small groups that meet during the week. We have an adult group that meets on Tuesday nights, another adult group that meets on Wednesday nights, a young adults group which meets on Tuesday nights and our youth small groups, one for the girls and one for the lads, which both meet on Thursday nights.
Each group decides what they want to study or reflect upon, ranging from ’straight’ bible study to reading other Christian-focused books, or sometimes just spending time in worship and prayer. One of the adult groups has recently read Rick Warren’s “Purpose Driven Life” and the group then shared their learning and growth with other members of the church by leading a Sunday Service focused on key aspects of the book.
If you have any questions about any of the Pavilion church small groups please call Paul on 07974 910179.
The Purple Patch Quarterly Meetings
The Purple Patch is an event which is hosted by women, for women, at Rowheath Pavilion.
We aim to encourage, inspire, challenge and motivate women in their lives, gifts and aspirations. Women, everywhere, have been on a search for their identity, their role in relationships and their desire to nurture, create and above all to inspire beauty. We endeavour, at The Purple Patch, to help each other on our similar yet unique journeys to find contentment in who we are. This search is founded on our belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, who loved us so much that He died for us, rose again and lives again with our Heavenly Father and in our hearts.
If you would like to know more about The Purple Patch, please contact Nicci Gagel on 0121 680 7784 or Jan Bowen on 0121 471 2114. If you would like to suggest a particular subject that you think would encourage and inspire other women we would love to hear from you!
Meetings of ‘12′
‘12′ is The Pavilion Christian Community’s men’s ministry and we have a calendar of events planned for 2007.
If you want to know more about ‘12′, or any of the events we have planned, please get in touch with Paul Clarke our Pastor or contact our coordinator Dennis Evans on 07796 135650 or at dennisthebeliever@btinternet.com.
