Sunday Service
Main Service
10.10am every Sunday in the large hall at Rowheath Pavilion. We meet together every Sunday to worship God and learn more about His love for us.
Our service includes:
- times of worship, lead by a small group of singers and musicians from the church
- a time of intercession (prayer) led by a member of the church
- a message (sermon) brought by a member of our preaching team
- a time of Communion, where all who accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour are welcome to share the bread and wine
Sunday Activities for Young People
Baby rock meets every Sunday and is for little ones form 6 months to 4 years.
Our Kids rock group meets every Sunday for children aged up to about 8 years. Our Disciples group aims to encourage, support and explore Christian values with children up to the age of 12; in the last few years of primary school and during the important transition to secondary school. Youth Church, aged 13 and up, meets from 10.30am.
Service Plan
The normal pattern is that the young people join the main service for the first 15 – 20 minutes, if they wish to, in order to share a time of worship. They then divide up into separate groups for their specific activities, before rejoining the rest of the church at the end of the service for a time of fellowship over tea, coffee and squash (and cake if we’re lucky !).
